This product when used in gun bores, completely removes all carbon, moly and copper fouling but leaves a protectant coating behind. After repeated firing and cleanings, the clean-up time is greatly reduced and the full accuracy potential of the weapon is achieved.
When used on bare steel, stainless or aluminum and wiped dry after application, not only does it leave a protective coating but it can also be primed and painted.
Bare steel has been cleaned with this product and wiped dry, then exposed outside to the elements for months without any signs of oxidation.
