These dog hats are uniquely designed, fun accessories for dogs. While the hat itself can be constructed in virtually any style, the fastener system is an improvement on existing pet hat attachment methods. These dog hats feature two adjustable, elasticized straps, which are designed to criss-cross under the dog's chin and are fastened to the hat in front of and behind each ear. Each elasticized strap is knotted above where they are attached to the hat and new knots can be made, shortening the elastic straps for smaller dogs. The elastic straps are long enough to fit very large dogs, but they can be shortened to fit very small dogs—or even cats! The dog owner then slips the two elastic straps under the dog's chin and then adjusts each strap so that they go in front of one ear, under the dog's chin and behind the opposite ear. The dog hat will stay securely attached even during chase scenes (video demonstration available upon request), but the dog can still get it off by using his paws or rubbing their head on an object. As stated above, this harness can be utilized for virtually any kind of hat. The elasticized straps are inconspicuous and will be covered by the dog's fur, so that the fun aesthetics of the hat are not detracted by the way the hats are fastened. In addition, white or black elastic can be offered, making the fastener even harder to see. Different sizes of hats can be offered as well.
