Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click the “Sign Up” button and complete the information form to create an account.
How do I list my product?
After you create an account, log in at with your username and password. Once you are logged in to your account, click the ‘Create Listing’ button in the center of the page. Fill in the product information in the space provided; be as descriptive as possible (this is the information that companies will review when considering your product). You can ‘save’ or ‘preview’ your listing before you complete the post. And, you can come back anytime to update or edit your listing, just log back in to your account and scroll down to the ‘Manage My Listings’ section, and click the ‘edit’ button next to the product/listing.
How do I activate my listing?
Once you have entered all your product info, you must agree to the ‘Commission Agreement’ terms which are listed at the bottom of the page. Make sure the checkbox is selected and click the ‘Post Listing’ button to finalize and activate your listing. You can come back anytime to update or edit your listing, just log back in to your account and scroll down to the ‘Manage My Listings’ section, and click the ‘edit’ button next to the product/listing.
What can be listed?
What kinds of products can I list?
MatchProduct’s listing requirements are as follows:
- All Products must be finished goods (inventory ready for sale or finished factory samples ready to be ordered and supplied to a buyer).
- All Products must be tangible goods and are not invention concepts, products still in development, business ideas or method of doing business.
- Products shall not be defamatory, be trade libelous, be unlawfully threatening or harassing.
- Products shall not be obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or illegal in any respect.
- Products shall not host images not part of a listing or link to or reference seller’s website or phone number.
Costs
Will it cost me anything to list my product(s)?
There is NO up-front fee to list your product(s). It is a free listing. We only ask a commission from the seller if we are successful in selling the product. Keep in mind that we do not lock up your product, which means that even if you list your product with MatchProduct, you can continue to market and sell your product on your own. We only receive a commission on agreements that are a result of MatchProduct’s efforts. Furthermore, you have final approval on all sales and license agreements, which creates a Win/Win, No Risk marketing solution for your business.
What is MatchProduct's commission?
Our commission is 5% on wholesale / distribution agreements (where you sell direct to the buyer) OR 20% on license agreements (you keep 80%) where the company pays you a royalty. View Commission Agreement
