nu:m8 uses its LBS data from the GSM network provider to give the parent a quick location of their child which is then refined using AGPS to an accuracy of 3 metres. The benefit of using the dual technologies is that the child can be located both indoors and outdoors.
Safe zone boundaries can be drawn around a home, hotel, or a ‘zone’ to avoid a pool a beach and so and be alerted as soon as the child goes beyond those boundaries.
nu∙m8 can be used from a simple web site portal or text messaging from ANY mobile phone, on any network in USA.
