Conceptually speaking, the Patient Transfer Harness (PTH) is a patient transfer device comprised of a rectangular frame with sturdy nylon straps connected to the frame. The PTH features four gripping handles on each side making it possible for one to eight personnel to lift/transfer a patient. The PTH would be used to facilitate the process of transferring patients onto beds, gurneys, X-ray tables, MRI platforms and other diagnostic devices. The PTH could be used as a stretcher by firemen and EMT's. The PTH is ideal for use in hospitals, medical clinics, ambulatory care centers, surgical centers, disaster recovery and military use. The PTH is 72'' in length and 30'' wide has reinforced durable nylon, lifting handles and allows for ease of use. The PTH is lightweight, portable and comes packaged in its own duffle bag for easy storage.
