Welcome to Custom Fire Grates, we’re a company staffed with people that really enjoy a great fireplace experience. The founders Mark and Melissa Powers started our company with an idea that a fireplace should look good and function with minimal maintenance. Imagine how nice it would be if you had a perfect fire all the time and it was easy to manage. Now there is, with our Snap & Stack System™ and Removable Ash Pan™ building and maintaining a full-bodied fire is quick and easy.

The airflow is amazing because of the way we designed the Snap & Stack System™ and with the Removable Ash Pan™ you get a longer lasting fire and when you’re ready to clean up the ashes you simply pull out the Removable Ash Pan™ and dump. It’s that easy!

Better quality burn - With Custom Fire Grates product, The Lounge your wood is lifted off of the floor with our patented Snap & Stack System™ allowing air to be pulled in from underneath the wood, your fire will be supercharged with air making it hotter and more efficient giving you a full-bodied fire experience.

More complete burn - Burned pieces of wood fall into the Removable Ash Pan™ through the spaces in the grate creating a bed of super hot coals keeping your wood burning longer. This allows the wood above to be burned from the bottom up so you don't need to adjust and move the wood once placed on the grate.

Protection of your fireplace floor – With our Snap & Stack System™ and Removable Ash Pan™ our grate keeps the real heat up off the floor protecting your concrete from the extreme heat of the fire. This will add life to your fireplace.

Better drafting – Our Snap & Stack System™ and Removable Ash Pan™ lifts the fire off of the floor enabling your fire to be closer to the chimney and allow air to move under the fire. By doing this you not only supercharge your fire but you also help it draft smoke and fumes out the chimney instead of into your home. Sometimes a smoking fireplace can be cured by the use of a grate.

Less work - Most fireplace grates have a front and back that curl up. This helps to cradle your firewood to keep it in one location and also helps to continuously force the wood to the middle of the grate. With our product and its Snap & Stack System™ and Removable Ash Pan™ you simply place your wood on the stack shelves making it easier to manage and gives you a great full-bodied looking fire. Instead of having to move the wood around all the time you simply add more when needed. This can help reduce hot embers from popping out and burning your floor as well.
