Supporting both sashes of the tilt in windows prevents damage to the sills, sashes, tracks and tilt in releases. TWS takes the stress off of the window cleaners legs and back as well. Large tilt in windows are very heavy and dropping them can result in damage to the window including the seals, sashes, tracks, and glass. When tilted in too far, windows can pop out of the track completely.
