The inflatable FULL HELMET AIRBAG helps to eliminate factors such as head shape and change in hair styles, thus allowing for a correct fit.

Luft Helmets have the following features

The full helmet airbag system is inflated by manual pump situated inside the chin area of the helmet. Pump this up to achieve the ultimate fit. To release the air press the smaller release valve next to the pump. The air escapes the airbag via the rear vents.

The front visor replacement system is quick and simple. Simply raise the visor and one press of the quick release button and the visor is removed. When the visor is fully raised it has a perfect angle and air gap between visor and helmet to create minimum drag and distortion. The visor's strategic engineering also tunnels wind into the top air vent when open, allowing a cooler ride.

The internal polarised visor works on a manually adjusted slider on the side of the helmet.

LUFT Helmets meet or exceed the following : DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (EUROPE), AS/NZS 1698:2006 (AUSTRALIA)

The Luft racing helmet FULL HELMET AIRBAG is the first in the world to provide an airbag that inflates the entire head area giving the wearer ultimate comfort and safety.

The quick release visor is engineered to provide minimum drag when lifted up and tunnel airs into the top vent. The other benefit is the quick release system which does not require tools to remove the visor.

The internal sun visor allows the wearer to do away with sunglasses which sometimes cause pain and discomfort to the side of some riders heads. Also allows the wearer to easily flip the polarised lens back up into the top of helmet when not needed.

The ratchet chin strap slides together with ease. To release pull a small toogle which pops open the strap . This is so beneficial in the event of an accident the helmet can be easily removed and makes putting on and taking off a helmet a breeeze.

The airbag gives the rider the ability to adjust the fit of the helmet, to gain the optimum comfort level.

All of these features can be operated by the rider with golves on, saving time on your ride.

All Luft helmets have passed DOT, ECE and AS/NZS standards.
